Want to travel faster? Several airlines fly into the region to one of the following destinations: Ancona, Perugia, Pescara, Bologna or Rome. The latter two will still require you to drive a sloppy 270 km to Loro Piceno.

Facilities in Loro Piceno include two supermarkets, a bakery, a fresh pasta shop, several bars, 5 restaurants, tobacco shop, clothes shop, a bank and ATM, a pharmacy, a hardware shop and a police station (carabinieri). There is a market on Monday mornings; fresh vegetables, clothes, bags, shoes and household goods. Friday you can buy fresh fish in the square.

The region is richly endowed with more than 250 kilometres of coastline. Your favourite beach is bound to be among them. There are several beaches within driving distance of Villa Verde. Beaches are mostly equipped with sunbeds for hire. The free beach is relatively smaller. Tip: bring some change for possible use of parking machines.

There are wonderful areas where you can go hiking and admire the impressive natural landscape. About a 50-minute drive away from Loro Piceno. The journey there is already beautiful and special. There are no highways going to such areas, so be prepared and check the weather forecast before you go and make sure you have appropriate clothes and shoes. Also, don't forget to bring something to eat and drink. That way, you can enjoy yourself to the fullest. Beautiful destinations are:

• The flat offers space for 4 people + possibly a baby cot. Multiple people are not allowed to stay in the apartment.
• What is included in the fee? You will receive a towel and linen set, bottle of olive oil and starter set of coffee cups. You can get a new set of towels and bed linen for an extra charge. You should bring your own beach towels.
• What is available in the flat? Complete set of crockery and glasses/cups, nespresso machine, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine (no detergent).

We love animals, however for stays at Villa Verde, pets are not allowed.

In this region of Italy, the use of the English language is limited. It is therefore useful to have some basic Italian words to hand. Especially if, for example, you are allergic to certain spices.
